The musical tradition of the universal Church
is a treasure of inestimable value...
it forms a necessary or integral part of the solemn liturgy.

We have a variety of choirs and instrumental opportunities at SVDP, and always welcome new members to join us in praising God through song. All skill levels are welcome and you can come to any rehearsal to check it out.
Join a choir. Give back to your Parish community. Meet new friends and get involved!
Please contact Tony Freeman for more information, or if you would like to join a choir or play an instrument.

Freedom Ensemble
Any teen of the parish in grades 7-12 that sings or plays an instrument is welcome to join our parish's Freedom ensemble. This ensemble typically sings at the 11:00 AM Mass the 3rd Sunday of every month, with large group choir opportunities on Christmas Eve and Easter morning. This ensemble typically sings contemporary music and rehearses Wednesday evenings (bi-weekly). The full schedule can be found at saintvdp.org under the tabs Worship & Sacraments, then Music Ministries. Contact Tony Freeman at tonyfreeman@saintvdp.org with questions.
