Recommends to the church concerning issues and policies involving the cemetery, cemetery maintenance, landscaping and renovations. Approves Cemetery pricing, and oversees stability of
cemetery, and recommends Cemetery planning and design, Cemetery care and policy.
Develops, implements and reviews a 20 year Major Repair and Replacement plan to ensure
present and future facility needs are met. This committee reviews parish facilities and prioritizes projects for annual and intermediate term funding. Once projects are approved the committee may, depending on project size, define the scope of work and assign procedures for bids, evaluate bids, provide oversight and approve work done. In addition, the committee monitors the maintenance of
facilities through periodic walk-through and checking of preventive maintenance procedures.
Identifies, evaluates and implements (as required) financial policies and procedures that support the financial well-being of the parish. Included also under the Finance Committee are: financial controls, annual and five year plan and budget, communications to the parish on financial condition, facility planning, Cemetery financial status, policies and procedures, banking relationships, investments, insurance coverage, and audit policy and review.
A project oriented group of IT professionals that meets to consult the parish staff on current projects
and technology possibilities.
Stewardship Committee - Works in coordination with the Pastoral Council and Commissions to engage parishioners as active, participating members of the St. Vincent de Paul Church community.
