Our Charitable Ministry provides support to those in need in our Community. If you are in need of help, or are looking for a way to help, or would like to make a donation to our charity account, please contact the staff listed at the bottom of this page.
This ministry is meant to express our spiritual solidarity and compassion for those in the community who find themselves in need. Beneficiaries are provided with a holiday meal or food baskets upon request.
Feed My Starving Children: Through this ministry groups of parishioners volunteer to package food for children around the world.
Sharing and Caring Hands: Parishioners prepare and serve a meal at Sharing and Caring Hands in downtown Minneapolis the second Wednesday of each month.
Franciscan Brothers of Peace: Through this ministry, groups of parishioners help the Brothers of Peace in St. Paul to package food for the poor around the community.
Basic Institute for Zonal African Advancement (BIZAA) is a faith-based initiative focused on empowering the youngest citizens of Africa through a grass roots effort to eliminate Child Labor. BIZAA serves as the liaison organization for our parish "International Outreach" to the Nigerian victims of child labor. While this program is being championed by our parish youth through a set solidarity-based curriculum, interested adults participate in annual mission trips to Nigeria.
Our Parish supports CEAP and CROSS food shelves. We host food drives multiple times a year. We also provide support through groups of parishioners who volunteer to package food for the Franciscan Brothers of Peace food shelves.
The Giving Tree is dedicated to fulfilling the holiday wishes of children and adults who would otherwise go without gifts. Parishioners purchase and distribute to needy families and Berkshire Nursing Home residents.
Through this ministry we provide social outreach to the needy in our community.
