Bargain and Beyond Rummage Sale

The goal of Bargains and Beyond is to provide funding for the BIZAA International Outreach efforts for elimination of child labor in Africa. SVDP parish is the host for this event, as BIZAA is SVDP's International Outreach Program.

Our annual Bargains and Beyond Rummage Sale is in June.

Items for Bargains and Beyond are collected for several days prior to the sale and are donated by the school, church and other community members.

April to early June is our collection season!
We are looking for gently used clean, saleable items.  Items that are not saleable reduce our fundraising efforts by the costs of their disposal.  Please be considerate and donate only items that are in good condition and useable.

Items NOT accepted at any time:  

• Unsorted containers of garage/hardware/electrical/bathroom items
• Trees, tires, chemicals
• Baby equipment (car seats, cribs, swings, high chairs, strollers)
• Mattresses, headboards, bed frames
• Televisions, exercise machines
• Hard-wired light or fan fixtures
• Metal desks, curios, entertainment centers, file cabinets
• Health and beauty items (nursing pumps, crutches, walkers, surgical boots, curling irons, blow dryers, makeup)
• Magazines or encyclopedias
• Phones, VCRs, computer equipment (printers, monitors)
• Remodeling items (tiles, linoleum, boards)
• Small appliances more than 5 years old
• Large frames/mirrors
• Window blinds or hardware
• Knives, except kitchen table knives
• Inflatables

Furniture:  Will only be accepted on June 8.  There will be no furniture pickups this year.
We will only accept furniture that can fit into a minivan AND can be picked up by one person.  We are unable to accept larger items.  Items may be refused, please call the coordinator at 763-315-4158 for advice.

Drop Off Dates:
April 27, 9 AM-Noon  (SOFT GOODS Only)
West door of the church offices.
Drop soft goods (clothing, shoes/boots, accessories, kitchen, bath, and bedroom linens and fabrics) If in doubt about an item, please call the coordinator at 763-315-4158.
