No need to sign-up or anything, just show your face as often as you can. Senior High YOUTH GROUP is an exciting way for people in grades 9 through 12 to meet other people of their faith and learn more about what it takes to live as a “TRUE CATHOLIC” in today’s world. We will talk about topics that you care about and find out what the church says about it all.

Christpower is a weeklong mission trip to our own hometown. We live, work, pray and play for one week at the Church of the Ascension in North Minneapolis. We go to work sites each day, play each afternoon, and pray each night.
When: July 8th 1:00 pm - July 13th 12:00 pm
Where: Church of the Ascension in Minneapolis
Who: Current 9th -12th graders and Parents/Adults as Chaperones
Cost: $195 for each participant
How to Register: Fill out form and turn into St. Vincent Parish office by May 15th, 2013.

What are you going to do on Christpower?
Paint, indoor/outdoor clean up, throw a tea party, home maintenance and repair on existing homes, host a carnival, plant a garden, revitalize a neighborhood, pull weeds, distribute food to those who need it, minister to grandma and grandpa, basketball, soccer, Mass, Reconciliation, retreat experiences, save the world, spend time with Jesus Christ, sing in the shower, color, hang out with friends, laugh, talk just with the girls/guys, pray, eat, dance, and build community in a community that really needs you.
Steubenville Youth Conference
July 26-28, 2013
Univeristy of St. Thomas
What: Weekend long Catholic youth conference. Music, speakers, entertainment, small groups, Eucharistic Adoration, and more.
Where: The conference is held in St. Paul, MN at the University of St. Thomas. We will be staying in dorms and the conference will be held at the University.
Who: All current 8th-12th grader students can attend. The weekend is chaperoned by staff and volunteers from St. Vincent de Paul. All have been background checked and have received Virtus training.
When: July 26-28, 2013. We leave in the afternoon of the 26th and return in the afternoon on the 28th. Transportation will be provided.
Cost: Non-refundable $50 deposit secures your spot and the total will be $210 (due on May 15th). This covers the cost of the weekend, t-shirt, and transportation. Refunds given for cancelations before May 15th will be for the cost minus the $50 deposit. After May 15th, no refunds will be given and total cost of the event is due to St. Vincent.
Due: Forms are due by May 15th. All forms received after May 15th will be wait listed as spots open. There are 2 forms needed for this conference. (1) One form is a permission/liability release form for St. Vincent. (2)The second form is an online registration for the conference that you fill out, print, and turn into St. Vincent. Teens are not fully registered until both registration forms are completed and turned in.
