EDGE is a time to talk about things that are important to you, meet new friends, and of course eat some food. If you know of someone else your age that would like to do something like this, give them a call and invite them to meet you at EDGE. Bring $3 with you if you want pizza!

Big Sandy Camp, McGregor, MN
Who: all current 6-8 graders
What: A weeklong camp especially for Junior High Teens with swimming, fishing, archery, large group games, the climbing wall, low ropes initiative, canoeing and paddle boats, the always exciting "Wacky Olympics", Mass, Adoration, small group time, Praise and Worship, and other amazing prayer experiences.
Cost: $350

Summer Stretch is an experience for our young students currently in grades 6-8. This program is designed to offer a community service and social/recreational experience for a 3-week period, two days a week, beginning in July and running every Monday and Wednesday until the beginning of August.

Can we bring friends?
Friends can register for Summer Stretch however, because of car pooling and group sizes you cannot bring guests for just one day.
Do we need to pay anything besides the fee?
No, the $135 fee will take care of everything including recreational activities, transportation, even a t-shirt and your Valleyfair admission (change for snacks, etc. at the afternoon activities may be needed).
What do they do in Summer Stretch?
Each young person is part of a small group of 6-8 students with a high school and two adult leaders. We gather as a large group at the beginning of each day for prayer. Then we split into our small groups for service or service learning from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. We have lunch at the Church and then go off as a large group to a recreational activity.
What if we have to miss a session or two?
That is fine. The price is the same no matter how many sessions you attend. If you are going to miss 3-4 sessions you may want to consider whether it is practical for you to do Summer Stretch this summer. Missing a session or two is no problem. We know that kids have camps, vacations, and all kinds of other activities during the summer.
